Breezy Hills

Program Notes

This brass quintet centers around a four-note motif. That motif and a hymn-like melody that is introduced alongside it are scattered throughout the piece. The quintet captures the expanse and calmness of nature, along with the image of a gentle breeze on top of a lush green hill.
