Holly Rhapsody

Program Notes

Holly Rhapsody was a fun idea I had to combine a few popular Christmas carols together.  The carols I chose to include are It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, Silent Night, and What Child is This.  This piece takes inspiration from many of Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsodies, which connect very different sections of music together into one work.
